Who We Are

Meet The Fishers

Meet The Fishers

Ethan and Victoria are expectant for what the Lord will do in Greensboro! They're planting The Gathering Place Church out of a heart to see the lost found, the found formed, and the formed sent into Greensboro and to the ends of the earth. Ethan will serve as the Lead Pastor, and together they pray TGP becomes a home where disciples are made, taught to treasure Jesus, trust His Word, and tell the world about Him. Married since 2017, they love serving side by side, spending time with their Labradoodle Riley Jenkins.

Our Mission

We exist to make disciples, teaching them how to treasure Jesus, trust His Word, and tell the world about Him.

Our Vision

To see the lost found, the found formed, and the formed sent, from Greensboro to the ends of the earth.

Our Values

We Teach Faithfully

We are committed to teaching the whole Bible with accuracy and conviction, without watering it down. We work to make God's Word clear and practical, so anyone, from lifelong believers to first-time guests, can understand it and live it out.

We Belong Intimately

We believe the Christian life was never meant to be lived alone, so we gather in groups where people are known, cared for, and challenged. We share meals, burdens, celebrations, and everyday life together as a family.

We Worship Deeply

We choose music thoughtfully, singing songs that are true to Scripture and point our hearts to Jesus. We approach baptism and the Lord's Supper with reverence, honoring them as gifts that proclaim the gospel.

We Sacrifice Joyfully

We follow Jesus, who gave Himself for us, by gladly giving our time, gifts, and resources to serve others. We serve without needing recognition and give generously because we trust God and love His mission.

We Multiply Intentionally

We encourage every person to pray for, pursue, and invite one specific person far from God. Rather than running endless programs, we focus our energy on doing a few things with excellence so we can reach more people and raise up more disciples.
